StoneRidge Group began life as a project management consultancy focusing on physical security, strategic planning, and organizational design-type projects.  

 

Many of our projects required the delivery of machinery, equipment, and supplies, beyond the capability of the principal. That’s where son-in-law Stuart Graham, a truck driver and heavy equipment operator by trade, became the first call for many projects.

 

The need for Less-than-Load delivery and float service for equipment became apparent and quickly took on an increasingly more significant part of the business.  While StoneRidge Group still does security and business consulting and projects, the float service has taken over 90% of the business’ projects.  

 

StoneRidge Group strives to ensure the timely and safe delivery of your goods to their destination, concentrating on the Niagara-Hamilton-Halton corridor. We do have some Cross Canada exposure as well as per request.

Stuart Graham: General Manager/Operator

Stu has years of experience as a Class A Truck Driver, making deliveries across Canada and the USA. He is also an experienced Mechanic, Highway Plow Operator and Heavy Equipment Operator. In addition to his managing duties, Stu is our principal wheelman for the float and power-only service.  He also conducts project planning and execution at the job site.

Matthew Richardson: President/Project Manager

As a Police Officer, Matt received a solid grounding in security operations, mainly as part of the Emergency Services Branch, which guided him through a transition to the Military. He has led, taught, and mentored security operations internationally and domestically. He has received a Master of Arts in Leadership Studies, earned a Master of Public Administration and is certified as a Project Manager with PMI.

 

Claire Richardson: Office and Account Manager

A Canine Handler, Dog Groomer, Hairstylist, and Support Worker, Claire is taking on the role of office and account manager.  While many of her duties are back of the house, Claire is a crucial communications link with our customers.  She will be happy to field your questions and provide the smooth administrative service you expect.
